Spruce side-grain plugs are for filling the hole left in the key after removal of old key leads. 0.555” diameter x 9/16” to 5/8” long. The diameter is 0.007” undersize 9/16” forstner hole to allow for glue. The plugs are not tapered. Set of 100 pieces. Made from kiln-dried keyset quality Canadian or Maine white spruce or Norwegian spruce. Use an Amana or similar forstner, some cheaper 9/16 forstners are too small (must measure at least 0.562”).
