This temperament strip is hand-made with ecsaine and the finest English bushing cloth. The two together make the best temp’t strip you’ve ever used. The ecsaine goes in between the strings and holds it’s position much better than felt.

The strip is much more supple than traditIonal felt, easier to insert and remove, and lasts many times as long as felt strips.

Since the ecsaine is better at damping the strings, the material doesn’t need to be as thick, which is the reason it’s easier to insert and remove. As a side benefit, in the capo d’astro bar section, the strip doesn’t tend to move the strings out of place as much as the thicker felt temperament strip.
